Global Mentorship Initiative (GMI) is thrilled to launch our new podcast series, The Human Network with Jon Browning. Each episode will explore the power of human connection in an age of algorithms and AI.

In Episode 1, Jon Browning, GMI founder and CEO, talks with two Hall of Fame mentors—Channa Kumarage, a Computer Science professor in the US, and Yuki Loh, a Finance Professional for Clarivate based in Penang, Malaysia. Each of them has mentored over 10 students through GMI’s online career readiness program. As long-time GMI volunteers, they both have gained important insights into what makes a great mentor and how mentoring can help us grow as leaders.

In this insightful conversation, they’ll share how they’ve cultivated genuine human connection across borders and how it has impacted their own careers.

You’ll also hear about:

  • How AI is changing students’ approach to their careers
  • What inspired them to become mentors
  • Essential and irreplaceable human skills for all workers
