At Global Mentorship Initiative, our mission is to connect historically underrepresented graduates with guided and personalized coaching that helps them secure their first job and build thriving careers.

We envision a world where every young person, no matter where they are born, has the tools and networks they need to launch successful careers—a world where they can thrive as leaders and open doors for others to follow. By 2035, we aim to connect 250,000 students and displaced refugee learners to jobs where they can build thriving careers, give back to their communities and step into leadership roles.

Strategic Initiatives

Global Mentorship Initiative partners with Think Human Fund, powered by Concentrix, to uplift and support graduates from the Global South who are pursuing careers in climate science and sustainability. Through a collaborative three-year pilot program, GMI connects these students with mentors who are decision-makers in those fields, creating intentional pathways to meaningful employment in a sector where access and representation remain limited. The pilot will support 20 students in year one, 50 in year two, and 200 in year three, building a pipeline of leaders equipped to shape solutions in the areas experiencing the largest impacts of climate change.

Global Mentorship Initiative is honored to serve as a mentorship delivery partner for UNHCR, the United Nations Refugee Agency. Through this partnership, GMI connects refugees and displaced learners with UNHCR supporters committed to expanding access to education and career opportunity. Built on GMI’s structured career readiness mentorship model, the program was piloted with USA for UNHCR in 2024 and is now scaling globally to support refugee learners as they transition from education into meaningful employment.
