Our 2024 Give Event

Every October, GMI and Microsoft professionals from around the globe connect for a unique 1-hour micro-volunteer opportunity. This year, we need your help building the foundation for GMI’s Career Coach AI, our career guidance AI tool that will allow students to query personalized guidance related to their upcoming job search. 

During the volunteer activity, you will be asked to reflect on your professional journey and be ready to share insights form your career that will help GMI students through the first two phases of the job search:

1. Researching and preparing job opportunities
2. Networking for job connections

Through the power of AI, your contributions will be leveraged at scale by GMI students as they enter the professional world. This 1-hour event requires no prior AI experience. Our custom Copilot will guide you through the volunteer activity.

GMI’s AI Micro-volunteer Events are free to join and open to all Microsoft employees and teams in all regions.

To register, CLICK THE EVENT ON THE CALENDAR BELOW that’s best suited to you and/or your Microsoft Team. Next:

1. Follow the instructions on the secure Microsoft Webinar Registration page to complete your registration.
2. Check your mailbox for the webinar access link.
3. Forward the webinar from your calendar or send the webinar registration link to your team, explaining how they can get involved.
4. Log your volunteer hour and Microsoft will provide an in-kind donation to GMI: Benevity Hour Tracking
