GMI’s Vision 2030
We are on a path to get 250,000 young people hired by 2030
Our Mission
GMI bridges the gap between graduation and first career jobs for underrepresented young professionals from diverse communities. Through leveraging digital resources, mentorship, AI, and human connection, we are building a more equitable workforce of tomorrow’s leaders.
Students everywhere struggle to land their first meaningful job. Our program begins where many educational support programs end: the transition window between college and career. Together, we are opening doors for the next generation of young professionals to succeed.

Now is the time to become a GMI Partner. Explore our initiatives below!
Aspiring Climate Leaders
Countries in the Global South (Latin America, Asia, Africa, Caribbean) are disproportionately impacted by global warming, yet underrepresented among decision makers within the global organizations driving climate strategy.
This program will connect young graduates with mentors currently employed within leading government agencies, think tanks, and multinational organizations for a GMI mentorship.
The program will also include a virtual speaker series, offering current and future Climate Leaders a platform to discuss and address the pressing climate issues impacting our world.
GMI's Spanish Language Program
Youth partners across the Americas are asking us weekly when the program will be ready in Spanish…
With funding, we can launch a fully Spanish mentorship track within three months which will support thousands of students across Latin America and displaced learners emigrating to the US and Canada
Refugee Pledges
GMI has grown into the largest virtual global mentorship program helping refugee learners get their first job. Our flexible, remote, and international model fits seamlessly into any training program, whether on site or remote.
GMI has pledged to connect 1,000 displaced learners with targeted support as they launch their careers in the next two years.
We are thrilled to be partnering with UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency and a host of other incredible partners to provide wraparound support to displaced learners.
Women in STEM
Over 65% of GMI students identify as women and nearly 50% of our learners are pursuing careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
GMI Mentorship is always free for students, thanks to the generous support of our corporate partners. $35,000 sponsors the onboarding of a new youth partner and allows us to provide targeted recruitment support to your company.
Sponsoring a youth partner supporting young women in STEM is an investment in the future.
Our Mentorship Pathway
The GMI Mentorship program is defined by its structured and easy-to-follow curriculum. By ensuring that all students will receive the same content, we can guarantee measurable impact even as we scale. Whereas the success of traditional mentorships depend on the quality of the relationship between student and mentor, following the GMI program allows mentorship pairs to build affinity organically, and allows for true human connection that transcends difference.
